The Vision of Hair Honey

The Vision of Hair Honey

Welcome back to the 4th Watch

I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2001 and a licensed cosmetology instructor since 2013. As a professional I have cared for MANY different types of hair and skin. I have taught many different people the science of hair and skin.  Over this span of time, you can imagine how many complaints I have heard about people's hair. Especially the textured hair girlies and guys. Whether it's a soft, loose wave or a corky tight curl, the complaints have been the same. IT TANGLES! IT'S DRY! MY HAIR LOOKS SO DULL! I have spent my career answering and teaching others how to answer these cries. From hilarity to frustration we have fought.

One day a friend of mine called and shared devastating news about their health, I took her to a local Pastor for prayer. During that visit he spoke into my life prophetically. He told me I would have a dream in 14 days, to write it down. 14 days later, I did just that. I woke up right at 5:30am after a very vivid dream. I wrote everything I saw and heard. An ingredient list came from that dream. I have worked for over a year to perfect the recipe, formula, and use of those ingredients. And now I present that dream to you in the form of Hair Honey.

The Science: Hair is made up of layers. The outer layer being the cuticle layer. The hair's cuticle is somewhat of an interlocking gate. Interlock your fingers, keep them straight, slowly raise them to where your fingers point out/upward, then lower them to where your fingers lay flat against the back of your hands. THAT'S THE GATE!  When that gate is raised (fingers up), even slightly, you need more hydration and product to give the hair a smooth hydrated appearance and feel. The more open the gate, the more product you'll need. This is also called porosity. If you slide your fingers down a strand of hair, you can feel the "bumpiness". Wavy-Coily hair usually has medium to high porosity. Meaning your hair is thirsty. The thirstier it is, the more it tangles and is hard to hydrate, contributing to that dry/dull appearance and feel. Hair Honey fills the gaps in the gate, smoothing the surface, allowing the rest of your products to do the jobs they are designed to do (told you I was a professional).

Hair Honey was given to me in the 4th Watch of the night and guess what...it's works! Trust this professional. More than that, trust your hair...honey!
